If you're a freight broker, you already know the drill. You hang up the phone, and now you have to go back into your CRM and manually log everything that just happened. The lane they mentioned. The callback they agreed to. The objection you overcame. It's tedious, it slows you down, and if you're juggling fifty accounts, something always gets missed.
That's exactly what this update is designed to fix.
What our RingCentral Integration Used to Do
Salesdash has offered a RingCentral integration for a while now. The original version gave reps click to dial functionality directly inside the CRM, automatic activity logging when a call was made, and for users on the upgraded plan, a call recording link tied to the activity timeline so you could play back any call without leaving Salesdash.
It was a solid foundation. But it still required reps to write their own notes.
What's New: RingCentral ACE and Conversation Intelligence
Salesdash now integrates with RingCentral ACE, their conversation intelligence platform (formerly known as RingSense). This requires having RingCentral ACE licenses, but for teams that have it, the upgrade is significant.
Here's what automatically populates in your Salesdash activity timeline after every call:
No manual notes. No going back to fill in what you remember. The AI listens, summarizes, and logs it for you within about one to five minutes after the call ends.
You Don't Even Have to Be in the CRM
This is the detail that makes it especially useful for reps who are constantly on the move. You don't have to be inside Salesdash when you make the call. As long as the contact's phone number exists somewhere in your CRM, Salesdash will match the call to that contact and automatically push the AI summary to their record.
That means if you're calling from your mobile app, your desk phone, or anywhere else through RingCentral, the log still shows up right where it needs to be.
Why This Matters for Freight Brokers
Data entry has always been one of the biggest friction points between salespeople and their CRM. Reps know they should be logging notes. Managers know they should be enforcing it. But in a fast-moving freight sales environment where reps are making dozens of calls a day, it rarely happens consistently.
AI call summaries remove that friction entirely. The notes get captured whether the rep remembers to log them or not. And because the summary is generated from a full transcription, it tends to capture more detail than a rep would manually write anyway, including tone, specific lane mentions, objections raised, and commitments made.
